Operation Wear Red on Fridays

Welcome to the Wear Red on Fridays Blog. This blog was started by me, and I immediately got my brother, Gunny John, to join me in this adventure. This is our logo that I designed. Please feel free to copy it and post it on your site with a link back to here.

This idea has been around for a while, but I just recently heard about it. I wanted to turn this into a national tradition. As I've said before, I am just an average person. But regular everyday people can sometimes do amazing things. Please help me to do that with this. Please help me to make our entire country red every Friday, and send a message that we love our country and support our troops!

So wear a red shirt every Friday, and if you don't have a red shirt, then check out ours and buy one of them. It's for a good cause and the shipping's free!

If you want to do something more for our troops then click here or on the link on our sidebar for the Any Soldier web site. You can choose who you send letters or packages to, and know that it will go to a soldier who is somewhere in harms way.

Red Polo Shirt

Several people have asked for a better picture of our "Lightning Sharp" Polo shirt. So here it is. You can click on the picture and see a larger image.

The shirts are just $20 each and that includes free shipping (within the USA). Larger sizes are more, so email for special pricing. Our "Wear Red on Fridays, Support Our Troops" logo is embroidered onto the front of the shirt with white lettering.

Just One Letter

Did you know many soldiers go an entire deployment, in hazardous conditions, without ever receiving one piece of mail?

Wouldn't it be nice if every soldier received at least one letter while deployed?

You can help make that happen. Go to http://anysoldier.com/ (or follow the link in our sidebar) and find a soldier to sent just one letter to. Tell them thank you. Tell them how grateful you are for their dedication to our country.

Please, send just one letter and make a HUGE difference in a soldier's life!

We currently have two shirt styles to choose from: Rolling Thunder in "rasp" font and The Patriot in "Tahoma" font. All shirts are heavyweight 100% 5.6 oz cotton, pre shrunk, t-shirts. Each shirt is $13 (XXL are $15) with free shipping within the USA.

A Site For Our Customers!

Many thanks to those of you that ordered shirts based on an idea, and a simple drawing. Your patriotism speaks for itself.

My sister and I started this project with the highest of hopes. We can only hope that it grows. Supporting our young men and women that are in harm's way should be a given, but it's not. We can only do our small part to display our pride and support of our own troops by wearing red on Fridays.
